The purpose and task of the contest:
- to identify and support young talented performers;
- to promote Ukrainian and world musical art;
- to develop international cultural relations;
- to exchange pedagogical and executive experience;
- to expand and diversify the concert repertoire of art educational institutions;
- to educate the aesthetic tastes of the younger generation.
Contest participants:
Students of primary specialized art educational institutions (schools of aesthetic education) and students of higher art educational institutions of I-IV levels of accreditation of Ukraine and foreign countries participate in the contest of young performers "Podilskyi Vodogray".

- D - students of I-II year students at music, culture, and arts colleges.
- E – students of III-IV year students at music, culture, and arts colleges.
- F - students of pedagogical universities and pedagogical colleges, specialty "musical art".
- G - students of music academies (conservatories)
Note: students of cultural institutes have the right to choose category “F” or “G”

Competition Jury:
The jury consists of leading teachers of art educational institutions of Ukraine and foreign countries, composers, famous performers, representatives of state administration bodies.
Conditions of participation in the competition:
- Students of primary specialized art educational institutions (schools of aesthetic education) and students of higher art educational institutions of I-IV levels of accreditation of Ukraine and foreign countries are invited to participate in the International Competition of Young Performers "Podilskyi Vodogray". Laureates of the first prizes of previous years cannot participate in the competition (in the same category).
- Participants must perform 2 different pieces, one of which is virtuoso. It is desirable that one of the works be by a Ukrainian author. Performance time: for students of PSMNZ - up to 10 minutes, for students of art institutions of I-II accreditation levels (music schools, music colleges and schools of culture) - up to 15 minutes. Higher education institutions - up to 25 minutes.
Evaluation criteria:
During the evaluation, the technique of performance, artistry of the participant, skill in revealing the artistic image are taken into account.
To participate in the competition, you must:
1. Fill out the application form by clicking on the button on the website.
2. The application must contain a link to the video recording of the performance on You Tube
3. Pay a charitable contribution (bank details are indicated), send a copy of the receipt to the email address.
4. The video recording is uploaded by the participant to You Tube personally. In the application, in the column "Access to the video recording" you must indicate a link to the video recording of the competitive performance. The video recording of the competition performance can be both stage and home, but recordings with logos or symbols of other competitions, festivals are not allowed.
5. The video recording must be made without turning off or stopping the video camera from the beginning to the end of the performance of the work, that is, the work is performed without stopping and editing. During the performance of the program, the hands, instrument(s), and face of the performer(s) must be visible on the video
The jury determines the laureates (I, II, III places) and diploma winners (IV-VI places) of the competition in each age category.
If there is an insufficient number of participants, the categories may be combined.
By decision of the jury, places may not be awarded. The jury's decision is final and cannot be appealed.
The winners of the competition will be awarded Diplomas of the competition. All competitors will receive certificates of gratitude. Teachers and accompanists will receive certificates.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to broadcast, audio and video record the competition performances and use this material free of charge without the permission of the participants.
In case of refusal to participate in the competition, the registration fee is not refundable. Participation in the competition is considered as full agreement with all terms and regulations.
